What kind of tone deaf marketing is this? Theres plenty of room in North America for an economical small pickup like the Ranger. Ford’s going to lose market share to Toyota, Nissan, and Chevy for no reason at all. Not everyone wants a ginormous F150 cluttering up their life, ok? Just build a standard small work truck, keep the gizmos to a minimum, the fuel economy to a maximum and it’ll sell faster than you can make them.

I have had a 2005 Ford SportTrac and it is been extremely reliable vehicle for us. My wife feels comfortable driving it and it is a 4×4 so it does fantastic in the snow and mud. With 247,000 miles on it and still running as good as it did at 1,000 miles. I am in the market for a replacement vehicle and I am becoming more and more interested in the M-Sport Ranger. FORD – Bring it to the US for a resemble price and I will be first in line to buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a 2002 F 150 to replace my 1991 Ranger and have regretted it ever since but holding on to it until it dies or Ford starts selling the Ranger again. Have even considered going to Mexico to get one since they aren’t for sale in Canada. Right now in USA Toyota seems to be best option.

It’s a 2×4. I need a 4×4 with manual tranny…I don’t want a mini-monster truck, which the ’16 seems to be…

One of the design problems of all mid-size trucks in recent years has been the trend to lower the roof, reducing head room access, in addition to being narrowing the cab. Narrowing the cabs is great for those going extreme off road to pass through ravines, trees, etc. I just the think the market is larger for the trades who need cab room. The only “truck?” that offered decent upright door access and an uncramped interior has been the Ridgeline. The next is my truck, the expanded Nissan Frontier, which is now going small again. Where I drive for my client’s, the turning circle on a 4 wheel full size truck just doesn’t make it. Ford, please build the new Ranger so that the dimensions are closer to the ’60’s to ’70’s F100’s. You will have a winner..

I need to consolidate down to one vehicle, but like many others here, I don’t want to spend $40K-$50K on a giant F-150. I don’t like the Colorado and Canyon. I’ve been patiently waiting for the Ranger/F-100 to arrive. In a couple years, I just may have to go with a Tacoma if Ford keeps dragging their feet.

Have a 1997 Ranger Xtnd Cab, 5 speed, 97K miles. Have owned it since 1999. It has been a great truck, just the right size for me. Hope the new Ranger comes out soon, will be one of the first to buy one.

As usual Ford beats GM for quality hands down. Yes, I am a tech. I have serviced 200,000 vehicles over 31 years. I can’t wait for the new Ranger !
