Ford Australia has announced it plans to release a new model of the Ford Territory to go by the name “2016 Ford Territory”. The new Ford Territory will receive some touches here and there to make its look more modern as well as to improve its power output and fuel economy. It will also come with improved interior features. The vehicle will be offered in TX, TS, and Titanium trim levels.
2016 Ford Territory Exterior
Going by the trend that we have seen in many SUVs and even other classes, the new 2016 Ford Territory will spot a new aggressive and sporty look. The automaker has utilized lightweight materials like carbon fiber, aluminum and high performing steel which have resulted in an overall weight reduction and increased total speed and improved fuel economy.
The new model will be slightly lower in height so as to boost its center of gravity and stability on the road. At the front fascia the new Ford Territory will feature a chrome plated grille which adds to the overall aggressive look. The air vents will also be slightly enlarged to channel more cooling air into the engine. Both the headlights and taillights have been hooked with LED lights which will improve night visibility.
The new roofing system will be slanted while the windscreen will be sharply ranked. This will result in a more aerodynamic shape that reduces air resistance hence enabling the vehicle to move faster. The vehicle will run on 18-inch alloy wheels which complement its overall sporty look as well as improve its handling even in rough terrains. The vehicle will have five doors.
