If Ford isn’t going to out the 3.5L Ecoboost in the Mustang, then I really hope that they put it in this bad boy. Maybe the 2.7L Ecoboost (325hp/325tq minimum)would be the best option for the base engine.

My first new car was a 1969 Tornio, bought it in June 1969 upon my return from a tour in
Viet Nam. It was a sleek and smooth operating car, had a V8 engine. I enjoyed it very much.
I also had a 1969 Torino GT Fastback. It had a 351 Windsor in it and factory AC. Loved it.
I like it. Black with the red works for me although it needs the big motor. 40’s isn’t bad considering that girly car ‘whinny the mustang’ goes for around that with any muscel under the hood.

Doesn’t look even close to the Camaro if anything the Camaro looks too much like the Fords! The Torino replaced the Fairlane and this new one looks damned close to the iconic Torino and Aussy Falcon XB GT sister car. It is a larger car then the Pony’s…This is a Muscle car.

1st, cars take a ling time to develop and usually start with a concept 4-5 before production.
So we would have heard if it before now.
2nd, there is no talk of platform. Ford right now only has the Mustang as a RWD car. The new Mustang just came out. If its platform was going to be shared with another car, we would have heard about it before now.
3rd, every Ford model has a base model with a small EcoBoost engine, including the Mustang and F150 but this one is 5.0 and up?
If your gonna complain about how long it took just to release it then go complain about Toyota’s and their faulty airbags.

Love the car, when and if it becomes available I’ll be placing an order! My 1st car was a 68’Torino GT with a 302 helped out with some 351 Windsor heads, 4bbl carb. That was the beginning also owned 72 Gran Torino Sport 351CJ , 4spd , Magnum 500’s, absolutely my favorite Torino, a 73 Gran Torino Sport 351 Windsor, auto. My grandfather had a 69 Torino GT w/ 429 , my father had 71 Torino 302 4 door but who cared, he even had the GT hood on it, for a 4 door it was always a head turner.
I want this new though, this is definitely a car for us bit older dudes who love the Stang but would treasure the Torino! Come on Ford, do this and leave those other guys knowing why your #1 in Muscle Car!

I had a 1968 the same color. Mine had a white pin stripe, with baby moons and beauty rings. It also had a 390, with three speed on the column. I wish that I could locate it. I would buy it right now!
